Chocolate Swiss Roll is a delicious dessert loved by every one. Chocolate swiss roll not only looks fantastic but tastes really good. This is a very simple recipe and can be made without much effort.

Ingredients:


100 gms condensed milk
50 gms fine flour (maida)
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
A pinch baking soda (soda bi-carb)
30 ml melted butter 
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
200 ml whipping cream
3 tbsp powdered sugar
4-5 drops of vanilla essence

Method:


1. Sieve the fine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda
     together. 

2. Combine condensed milk, butter, vanilla essence in a bowl and
     whisk well.

3. Now add fine flour mixture and mix well.

4. Line and grease 10" x 12" Swiss roll tray.

5. Pour the cake batter into the tray and bake in a preheated oven
    at 180C for 15-20 mins or until it leaves the sides of the tray.

6. Remove the cake from oven and let it cool.

7. Add cream, powdered sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl and
    mix well.

8. When cake is cool, remove the lining, place cake on a piece of 
     butter paper, spread the cream mix on it evenly.

9. Using the butter paper, gently roll up the cake. Wrap the cake
    up with the butter paper & refrigerate it for 20-25 mins.

10. Cut the roll into desired thick slices.

11. Arrange rolls into a plate, garnish with rose petals and chocolates

12. Chocolate Swiss Rolls are ready.

Tips:


1. Different flavour can be used with cream like strawberry, mint, lemon, 
    pineapple, orange, rose etc.

2. You must refrigerate the roll before slicing it.

3. Different flavoured jam can be used in place of cream.
