Green Peas Soup


Green peas soup is perfect combination of vibrant color and taste. A delightful way to eat your greens. This very quick and easy to make green peas soup is bursting with nutritional goodies. A bowl of warm green peas soup will make your lunch/dinner perfect.

Ingredients:


4 cups fresh green peas
2 tbsp fresh cream
1 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp coriander leaves
1/2 tsp oil
Salt to taste

Method:


1. Put the peas with water in a pressure cooker and cook until soft.

2. Blend peas to a puree with a blender. Strain into saucepan.

3. Heat oil in a pan, add ginger-garlic paste, cook for some time, now add peas
    puree, lemon 
juice, black pepper powder, salt.

4. Bring it to a boil and cook for just couple of mins.

5. Add fresh cream, coriander leave and mix well.

6. Garnish with black pepper & coriander leaves.

7. Serve hot.

Tips:


1. Frozen peas can be used in place of fresh peas.

2. Vegetable stock can also added in this soup.

3. You can  fresh cream and mint leaves for garnishing.
