must sweet. There is a wide variety available like peda,
kesar peda,malai peda, doodh peda,

Malai Peda is a very popular one.Malai Peda is made with mawa, flavored with
cardamoms, 
saffron and nuts. It’s smooth, rich and creamy, an intensely aromatic
dessert that nobody can 
resist.....so enjoy this Diwali with delicious Malai Peda.



Malai Peda



Ingredients:


1/3 cup milk
1 cup milk powder
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 tsp saffron soked in milk
1-2 tbsp pistachio chopped
1 tsp ghee

Method:


1. In a pan add ghee, now add milk and bring it to boil.

2. Add milk powder, mix it well and cook it till it become little dry.

3. Switch off the heat and let it cool. Mawa is ready to make pedas.

4. Now add sugar, cardamom powder, saffron & mix it well.

5. Divide the mawa in to small equal portions.

6. Shape each portion in peda, garnish with pistachio.

7. Soft, creamy Malai Pedas are ready for Diwali.

Tips:


1. You can use other dry fruits like cashew nuts, almond, resin etc.

2. Condensed milk can also be used to make malai peda.

3. Malai pedas can be stored for a week in refrigerator.
