Churma Ladoo is a very popular delicacy of Rajasthan and Gujarat offered to Lord Ganesha during Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Churma ladoo is a sweet prepared combining wheat flour, sugar, cardamom, ghee and dry fruits. It is very easy to prepare and also healthy. Churma Laddu is made using whole wheat flour which is a proven source of rich carbohydrates. it also makes an exceptional snack for adults and school kids giving a direct bout of energy ...........so lets get started with the mouthwatering Churma Laddu recipe. i am sure its an amazing treat to your taste buds.

Churma Laddu


Ingredients:


2 cup whole wheat flour
2 cup powdered sugar
3/4 cup ghee
2 tbsp ghee
1 tsp cardamom powder
2 tbsp cashew nut, almond chopped
Ghee for frying balls
Water as required

Method:


1. Add whole wheat flour, 2 tbsp ghee in a big bowl and mix well.

2. Make a stiff dough by adding enough water in it.

3. Divide the dough into small equal portion and make balls out of it.

4. Heat ghee in a pan and deep fry balls till golden in color.

5. Allow them to cool and grind them into coarse powder or churma.

6. In a big bowl add 3/4 cup ghee, powdered sugar, cardamom powder,
    chopped 
cashew nuts, almond, churma and mix well.

7. Divide the mixture into small equal portion and make laddus out of it.

8. Chuma Laddus are ready for this Ganesh Festival.

Tips:


1.You can use gaggery in place of sugar.

2. For kneading dough milk can be used in place of water.

3. Raisin, pistachio and other dry fruits can also be used as per choice.

4. You can bake flour balls in oven (i have deep fried balls).

Peanut Laddu

(Singdana laddu)


Shravan is the holiest month in the Hindu calendar and is considered auspicious
by devotees who seek blessings from Lord Shiva, People observe fast during
Shravan month and many fasting delicacies are prepared. Peanut Laddu is a
very popular among them.

Peanut Laddu is a delicious and healthy recipe. Peanuts and sugar are the two main ingredients. Peanut laddu has goodness of nuts and sweetness of sugar. This can be packed for kids snackbox too. Kids would love it.Peanut laddu is very quick and easy to make. Add powdered peanuts, sugar and shape them into laddus. Peanut laddus are ready.

Ingredients:


1 cup peanuts
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom powder

Method:


1. Dry roast peanuts in a pan till skin starts splitting and they turn light
    brown in color.

2. Remove the skin & grind the peanuts to a coarse powder.

3. Add powdered sugar, cardamom powder to peanut powder and
    mix well.

4. Divide the peanut mixture in small portion & shape each portion in
    small laddu.

5. Peanut laddus are ready to serve.

Tips:


1. Sugar can be replace by jaggry.

2. You can skip cardamom.

3. Some dry fruits like almond, cashew nuts can be added to laddu.
