Peanut Burfi
Peanut Burfi is a traditional Indian dessert prepared during festivals. This recipe is simple and easy with few ingredients. Peanut Burfi is a delicious, healthy, nutritious sweet specially for kids. The crunchiness of the roasted peanuts gives a very good taste to this sweet.
Ingredients:
250 gms peanuts
200 gms sugar
1/2 tsp green cardamom powder
100 gms mawa
1 cup water
Method:
1. Dry roast peanuts till light borwn in color.
2. Cool peanuts, remove skin and grind to a coarse powder.
3. Grate mawa, add peanut powder to mawa and mix well.
3. Heat water and sugar in a pan, make a syrup of two string consistency.
4. Add peanut, mawa mixture to the syrup and mix well.
5. Pour this mixture in a greased try, spread it evenly and smoothen
the upper surface with the help of a greased bowl.

6. Let it cool completely, cut into desired shape.
7. Peanut burfi is ready.
Tips:
1. You can skip mawa if you like.
2. Saffron can be added to give it a beautiful color.
3. Nuts like almond, cashew nuts can be also be added.
